We specialise in the repair and replacement of all makes of colour and monochrome (amber or green screen) CRT monitor units for the CNC machine tool industry. Although these units are very reliable, they do break down on occasion, and then you need a fast solution to your breakdown.
Machine tools can have a life of
thirty years or more, but the machine tool manufacturers are mainly
interested in selling brand new machines, so understandably, servicing
your ten year old machinery is not always their top priority.
O.E.M. replacements are
sometimes available, rarely off the shelf, usually at exorbitant cost. Okuma quoted some £6000 to replace an OSP-5000 12"
colour monitor together with a new control! They said the monitor was
obsolete. We got the customer back in business for £600! Re-Vision have acquired technical information
and a substantial stock of spares for most monitors used in CNC control
systems. We provide a rapid reconditioning service at a sensible price,
getting you up and running, in no time at all. We have a vast database with hundreds of monitors and controls
listed. We have highly trained engineers
with experience in this type of monitor (which are somewhat different to
a domestic TV or standard computer) and we repair down to component

as soon as it arrives. Because we
know how important it is for down-time to be kept to a minimum, we can
normally provide a 1-2 day repair and reconditioning service including
soak testing. For many common monitors we have service exchange units in
stock, ready for immediate despatch. If your unit is beyond economic repair, don't
despair! We also build our own brand new monitors at a fraction of the cost of those supplied by the machine tool
